Managing Partner
Gil Ross is one of the firm's founding partners and has been a practicing attorney for over 26 years. Long recognized one of Illinois' most respected legal counsel, he is one of Chicago's Super Lawyers.
Gil is usually the first person a client meets when coming to our firm. His demeanor and approach to client relationships will put you at ease. When first engaging our firm for representation, it is Gil who will help you assess the facts and theories of your case and will help get you started towards a resolution of your potential lawsuit.
While not a physician, Mr. Ross was recently invited to present “Grand Rounds” to the entire Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County. He is also a member of the Society of Critical Medicine. In addition, Mr. Ross has published articles in areas of both medicine and law. Gil also educates other attorneys, serving as a lecturer in continuing legal education classes.
Before coming to the law, Gil was an award winning photographer and photojournalist. He has remained active in photography, both behind the camera and in teaching. Gil was recently the recipient of the prestigious Philo Award, given to him by the International Television Association for his photography on the last music video of the legendary rock and roll group, The Band. He is an avid motorcyclist and represents several motorcycle organizations.
Gil was recently in Washington, D.C., where he was admitted by invitation to practice before the United States Supreme Court.
Gil Ross' recent results include a $12 million settlement and a $21 million verdict.
